Kevork. Viçen. Hovsep. The photographic advanture of the Abdullah Frères began in 1858, when the German chemist Rabach decided to go back to his country and they took over his studio. They won the favor of Sultan Abdulaziz with their portraits, and moved on to photographing the celebrities of their time. Following the Empire in its footsteps toward destruction, the Frères retired at the turn of the century.
